On the Job with C: Herringbone Tile

This has been the year of bathrooms.  I have several to design because of new construction, but I also have many clients who are reworking their baths as well.  And it’s not surprising really.  The best ROI on a house is most often found in the kitchen and bathroom.  While most baths need a spa like shower, bathtub, vanities, good lighting and beautiful countertops, I have come to believe that the best designs involve creative tile.  Recently, I have come to love herringbone.  Whether you utilize the pattern on the floor or the wall, it’s truly a eye-stopper if done correctly.
