On the Job with C: Thrift Studio Opening Night

I don’t necessarily call this work.  I mean, how could I?  Last Thursday I put on my party clothes and joined the Dallas design community and the committed staff of Dwell with Dignity for the grand opening of Thrift Studio.  It was a great night of product surprises, competitive shopping and happy mingling.  The food from Fluff Pop was divine.   Here’s are some of the vignettes.

Mecox, Tompkins Lloyd Interiors + David Sutherland ,  Jan Showers SWOON, the studio.

And if you feel like you missed it all, don’t fret.  Thrift Studio Pop-Up Store will be open for 30 days, April 11 – May 10th, allowing you to buy some great designer goodies at incredibly low prices. Yesterday, my neighbor SK and I volunteered at the 10-2 shift and it rocked.  Just plan a visit of your own: The International 150 Turtle Creek Blvd, Suite 204 Dallas, Texas 75207. Hours are Tuesday – Saturday, 10 AM – 5:30 PM. See you there!

{photos courtesy of Unique Exposure Photography. Lance Selgo has been such an amazing supporter of DWD.  He has taken photos of every single install and Thrift Studio for the last 2-3 years. He does an incredible job and I would like to recommend him to any of you looking for a photographer to photograph your projects. I can’t imagine anyone that would be any easier to work with….}
