Paint Ponder: Beach Glass

In the January issue of At Home in Arkansas, I fell in love with this living room dining combination.  Listed as “Beach Glass” by Sherwin Williams, I absolutely adored the soft blue paint.  Quickly, I found that this must be Beach Glass by Benjamin Moore, as SW doesn’t have a Beach Glass in their inventory.  I love how very subtle it is.  It’s soothing and calm with a gray undertone, a hint of green and goes amazing with sandy colors (or BM #1066 Barely Beige or BM HC-84 Elmira White). Definitely a great color choice for not only the living and dining room, but a bedroom as well.  What do you think?

Paint Ponder: Muslin

I’ve been craving a great neutral color lately.  There are lots of choose from, but I particularly like Benjamin Moore’s Muslin.  OC-12 is part of Benjamin Moore’s off white collection and is described as “inherently sophisticated and endlessly versatile”.  How’s that for a safe, yet stylish color of paint?  Here are some rooms that wear it in style:

Paint Ponder: Revere Pewter

I’ve picked out a lot of paint.  Gray is everyone’s new favorite right now and I’ve found lots of great ones.  One of my new favorites is Benjamin Moore’s Revere Pewter and I promise this one will make you happy.   It works in a living room, bedroom, bathroom – or frankly anywhere.

As designer Susan Ferrier stated in this month’s House Beautiful, “I swear, it looks good everywhere”.  I’m with you Susan, truly with you.
