Paint Ponder: Red, White and Blue

It’s Memorial Day weekend and everyone is thinking about red, white and blue.   The paint combination can be added in so many different ways.  Here are some ideas…

Paint Ponder: Cement Gray

Something borrowed,  something blue gray…how about this color?  Benjamin Moore’s Cement Gray 2112-60.  Looks perfectly framed with White Dove OC-17 trim and compliments marble nicely as well.    Soft, subtle but eye catching.

Paint Ponder: Silver Mist

Do I sense silver in our midst?  Sherwin Williams Silver Mist SW7621 adds a nice, soft calming effect to any room.  Try it in a bedroom, bathroom or anywhere you want to relax.  It’s perfect for the beach home too.  And if you want to see it perfectly done in a bedroom, check out my earlier post.

Paint Ponder: Sea Salt

I’ve started reworking my master bedroom and wanted a soft blue color.  Along the way, I fell in love with some Peacock Alley  bedding in a sea glass and needed something to work with it.  Enter Sea Salt SW 6204 by Sherwin Williams.  It’s light, cool and looks great against my bright white trim.  Just perfect for a restful room.  Here are some others who have tried it.
