Paint Ponder: Mocha Creme

This soft brown-gray might be the best neutral for those want the perfect sandy color. Benjamin Moore’s Mocha Creme works greats with chocolate brown (try incense stick 2115-20), soft blue (try beacon gray 2128-60) and even green.  Give it a roll as your next greige….

Paint Ponder: Mercer

It’s time to take a look a Ralph Lauren paint again.  While the world isn’t rushing back to the infamous Hunting Coat Red from the early 90s, RL’s Modern Naturals collection is worth a look.  Here’s a warm update that will make you swoon.  UL240 or RL 1167 Mercer .  Cozy.

Paint Ponder: Tudor Brown

“I use a lot of brown because everything goes with it.”, states Dan Carithers in House Beautiful about Benjamin’s Moore Tudor Brown.  “This is like melted chocolate — sensuous, smooth, velvety. I don’t think of it as dark, but rich. It anchors a room and gives you a luxurious feeling. I’ve used it lots in libraries, with white trim. All the beige, camel, and parchment colors look handsome with it.”  I’m loving it.
