Paint Ponder: Olive

Although I don’t like olives, unless they are in a martini – I do love this olive green.  Farrow & Ball No. 13 Olive.  Miles Redd used it beautifully in the mud room of this Greenwich, Connecticut home.  I like its earthy, historical look.  What do you think?

Paint Ponder: Skylight

Farrow & Ball’s Skylight No. 205 is a calming, quiet paint perfect for a bedroom, bath or hallway.  It will work wonders with the popular gray colors everyone is leaning towards.  Designer Alessandra Branca describes it as a Venetian blue gray, whereas F&B simply states is a “definite light blue”.  What do you think?

Paint Ponder: French Grey

I’ve been looking for a color for a study and my client is keen on green.  “Not Kelly,”  he told me, “something more moody”.  I’m leaning towards French Grey No. 18 by Farrow & Ball.  It has a very classy look and is definitely subtle, even mysterious.  And with a hint of green.  What do you think?
