Paint Ponder: Edgecomb Gray

Edgecomb Gray HC-173 by Benjamin Moore is an”earthy, organic” neutral that works well in bedroom, bathrooms and living rooms.  I like the soft warm feel of it.  It’s easy on the eye and lets your furniture and accent pieces standout.  This historical color is the perfect one if you have to choose just one for the entire home.

Paint Ponder: Ponder

I’ve been writing “Paint Ponder” for sometime now and I laughed out loud one day when a reader asked, “Did you ever ponder Ponder?”.   Well actually….no.  🙂  Immediately I decided that I should take a look at it and consider what a color like ponder might be.  Sherwin Williams 7079 Ponder is a cooler color and falls in the gray category with the tiny slice of violet.  I love what Lauren from Material Girls did with in a nursery…

Paint Ponder: Revere Pewter

I’ve picked out a lot of paint.  Gray is everyone’s new favorite right now and I’ve found lots of great ones.  One of my new favorites is Benjamin Moore’s Revere Pewter and I promise this one will make you happy.   It works in a living room, bedroom, bathroom – or frankly anywhere.

As designer Susan Ferrier stated in this month’s House Beautiful, “I swear, it looks good everywhere”.  I’m with you Susan, truly with you.
