On the Job with C: Bubble Fixtures

There something so fun and classic about sipping champagne in a small upscale bar.  What about introducing the same feeling to a space?  We have pondered that thought with a client who is reworking her lounge area.  We are considering a bubble fixture.  We love the one from Muriel Chandelier from Oly and there is a budget friendly one at West Elm

On the Job with C: Grosvenor by Visual Comfort

I can’t get enough of this fixture.  Visual Comfort’s E.F. Chapman Grosvenor.   I’ve recommended it to several clients now and it never fails to be the star of the show.  It’s classic yet adds so much sparkle to a kitchen.  Plus it comes in a variety of sizes and finishes.  Love.

On the Job with C: Filament Bulbs

We all have those times were we obsess about something.  For me, it’s the filament bulb.  I’m working them in a client’s home and are so taken by their beauty and their timeless look.  What fixture showcases them best? How many replacement bulbs should I order?  You’ve probably seen them in recent magazine or Resto’s latest catalog, where the bulb resembles a very fine thread of light.  Love.

On the Job with C: Capiz Chandelier

I’ve decided a capiz chandelier will make the perfect statement for a client’s dining room.  I plan to hang it in front of a mirror so we get a beautiful visual of the delicate capiz shells dangling off with a little twinkle and shimmer.  A chandelier like this can be casual and dressy at the same time.  The perfect statement piece with a bit of texture to boot.  Here are some great options:
